no points atos medical

My friend has been on incapicity benefit for 8 yrs because of mental issues and after a operation went wrong.
She went for a atos medical in october and today she got a call saying she got no points and from the 25 dec she is only JSA.
she suffers with panic attacks and severe pain in her tummy and hardly goes out coz she hates crowds etc
Just wondering whats the next step for her?
Should she appeal?
