After being self employed for a while (unfortunately unsuccessful) I have managed to secure a permanent job however the start date is not until September 1st. This means I have just under 2 months with no income and I unfortunately don't have any savings to live off as I was not taking a wage the last few months of being SE.
I have been looking around but the only benefit that seems to pop up is JSA. I am happy to do some temp work over the next 8 weeks, so if I am looking for temp would that make me eligible for JSA?
