Hi everyone, really looking for some guidance here!
Following redundancy I spent the whole of tax year 2011/2012 unemployed and claiming JSA, but have been back in work since May of this year. 7 months in, loving being back to work and real life, not the endless job hunt.
Recently I was informed that due to my low wage I may be able to claim Working Tax Credits, and have put the [slow] wheels in motion.
I have hit a bit of a snag trying to fill out Part 5 - Income details where I am asked to give details of my income for 6 April 2011 to 5 April 2012.
It only asks for any Contribution based JSA and all paperwork I have says I was on Income Based JSA.
This means I will be declaring my income for that tax year as £0
Is this correct?
Maybe simple but I hoped I'd left the life of these kinds of forms behind - seem to have developed the inability to process them :(
