JSA Question & WTC Question

I have gotten a new job which starts on Monday (this is my usual sign on day), if I close my claim down on the Monday, will I be able to request my last payment for that same day as I would need it for travel etc?

Also, I am a few days over the 4 week run on for WTC, will I be able to make a claim over the phone as I have all my financial figures or will I have to request a new pack and do it via form?
