We have been claiming HB & CTB since the beginning of this year as our savings then dipped below the £16,000 figure. There are two sums of money due to me at the end of this month but at this stage the amounts are unknown. One is a small endowment policy maturing & the other a possible bonus from my pension provider that has sometimes been paid & usually at the end of June.
If the two were to push my savings over £16,000 I would come off HB & CTB but can see within a matter of a few months the figure again dipping below the £16,000.
So my question is if I were to come off these benefits for a few months then needed to go back on them would it involve claiming afresh & having (once again ) to provide all the paperwork as I did when I first claimed.
Any help would be gladly received.
