Greetings all! I am currently working as a Primary school teacher and have completed two terms of my NQT year. My contract unfortunatly comes to an end in August as I decided not to apply for a role at the same school in September. This is because I am in the process of moving from my home town to live with my partner.
My question
If I move in with my partner, can I possibly claim JSA? I will obviously HOPEFULLY have a job by September so it won't be an issue but I am tinking about and trying to financially plan. I have some savings but nothing huge.
My partner earns between £20,000 and £25,000 (not being deliberatly vague, I actually cant remember exactly at the moment). He works 9-5 Monday - Friday. I am obviously looking at supply teaching whilst job searching but in the unfortunate occurance I am caught short, what help might we be able to get
