Hi all,
My friend claims JSA.
I'm not sure how much he is supposed to get but he only gets £110 a fortnight after crisis loan deductions - so £55 a week.
He is subject to £14 a week bedroom tax therefore leaving him with £31 per week.
Yesterday he recieved a letter saying that he has been overpaid housing benefit and is subject to a further reduction in his housing benefit of £11 per week, taking his living money down to £20 per week.
Bus fair to job centre, gas and electricity and he is now minus money and hasn't even bought any food yet :/ what can he do?
Please don't just say get a job!! He is desperately trying to get a job and he has been applying for everything and anything but with very limited experience due to being incapacitated for the previous 4 years he's getting no luck x
