Hi, I don't know if anyone can give me some advice but my situation is as follows.
I'm married with 3 dependant children and I have schizo-affective disorder which if anyone doesn't know is like having schizophrenia and bi-polar at the same time.
My husband has been my carer for the past 14 years but recently started looking for work again (as he's probably needing to get back to work for his own sanity and self-esteem)
He has an interview tomorrow for a job which is 39 hours a week at minimum wage.
My question is if he gets the job will we be any better off financially? At the moment we claim Income Support, carer's allowance, DLA middle rate care and low rate mobility, child benefit, housing benefit and council tax benefit.
I am worried as we are up to our necks in debt mainly due to me spending all our money when I'm manic. :o
I'm bracing myself to get flamed but am also hopeful some people can give me some reassurance.
