I retired early in January 2011 and receive a small occupational pension. When I have been in touch with the tax credits office, I have always quoted the gross figure. I have only just found out that I should have been quoting the gross figure minus £300. Don't know how I missed this but I have. This could mean that my tax credits entitlement could be more. I know this can be corrected via the 12/13 renewal and for the current tax year. Can anything be done about 10/11 and 11/12 tax years or am I stuffed? They're probably going to say it was my fault and nothing can be done. Thanks
