I hope somebody can give me some advice please on behalf of my sister. We are completely clueless when it comes to available help. I will make this as short and sweet as possible.
My sister is English and her husband is Dutch. Until a year ago, they lived on the Continent in various places and then came back to live in England 11 months ago. Her husband works in Holland in the week and then comes back at weekends. they have 3 children all still in full time education. They live in a private rented house. My sister has a full time job and earns £1000 a month.
My BIL has now decided to call time on the marriage and will not be coming to England any more. My sister thinks he will cut all financial support.
Could anybody tell me if she would be entitled to any help towards her rent, council tax etc.
Many thanks in advance
