Hi,
I was wondering if somebody would be able to offer me some advice.
My partner started his business 3 years ago and although we have taken some money from it, it has been little and sporadic so for the whole we have survived on my wage alone. I get a decent income but with the debts we have incurred over the years through investing in the business and household expenditure it quickly disappears not long after pay day.
His accountant has told him to put through that he was earning a basic wage for national insurance contributions etc, but I thought that this could be paid separately and I am not convinced this was the best advice.
In 3 years we have not had any help with any of our bills or tax rebates or anything. I just wondered if there was anything we would be entitled to and if this could be back dated at all to help us to get out of the debt we are in and start over?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
