child benefit question regarding pension

at the moment i signed my child benefit over to my hubby and it has been this way for over 2years i dont work i didnt want to sign on as i still had a little at home and couldnt commit to looking for a job.
this all changes aug as he starts school dont know what to do do i change everything back over once he starts school so i can sign on and get my stampxx
