Not sure if anyone can answer this question. Its on behalf of my sister-in-law. Basically she walked out of a job that made her very unhappy after more than 10 years just last month. In that time, she has since found out she is pregnant. Obviously she is now very worried about her future. She is trying her best to get another job asap, and my brother works full time to help out for now, however he is on the sick for the next 3 months following surgery, so not usual wages.
Anyway, long story short, what will now happen regarding maternity money. Does anyone know if she will be entitled to apply for anything? Not really sure where to look, and this site has always helped me in the past so thought i'd give it a shot!
Thanks for any help or advice anyone can offer. Much appreciated. No negative comments with regards to her walking out of a job please. Not helpful, and going back to it is not an option. On a lighter note, everyone is delighted about the pregnancy as they have been trying for such a long time.
