I receive state pension and guaranteed pension credit as my only income. I rang DWP to say I no longer qualify for GPC as I have sold my house. They said equity from house sale is not counted, nor a lottery win apparently. It will not be reviewed again until 2017.
I'm having to move into private rented, so can I claim housing and council tax benefit? Also do I pay now at the dentist for instance?
