I submitted my ESA50 yesterday, sent it recorded mail to ATOS.
Anyway my neighbour made me worry a little today, he said "oh you do know if you fail claiming for ESA they will take your DLA off you?".
I'm on high rate mobility for spine tumours and problems they cause with my right leg, muscle waste, nerve damage, stabbing pains, leg shortening and so on. I receive no care.
I thought DLA was completely different to ESA? I mean DLA can be earned on top of any income you receive correct? It's not taxable and it's not means tested? It's primarily for help for problems the disability causes, like cabs, walking aids, etc?
Just made me worry a bit really...
