Im wondering if anyone can help as something seems wrong here.
At this present time we claim Job seekers allowance we have been on it since june 18th 12, my partner has applied for 30plus jobs per week since then also asked for help to become an estate agent but every door has been closed to him. So he has finally managed to get a job only 5 hours a week at about £18 per hour but when I called the job center they said we can keep £20 then the rest comes off our benefit. The job entails driving all over the northeast so its going to cost more in fuel. Something just doesn't seem right, its not that he doesnt want to work but its making me angry that we wont be getting help also they have refused him a clothes allowance for work as he needs dress trousers and shirts etc. How are we ment to benefit on £20 extra per week when more will be coming out?
