Council Tax Exempt on Empty Property

Hi

I purchased my 1st house in Jan 2012 due to personal circumstances I currently live with my partner and we pay full council tax
Last year the house I purchased I got 6 months council tax exempt from Jan to June 2012, as the property is still empty do i get 6 months per the next council tax year exempt too?
