Tax credits - £2500 income disregard question

Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this as I can't seem to find the answer on the tax credits website. Our income went down drastically this year as my husband had to stop working. I reported the change immediately in May last year and got amended tax credits for this year. They told me about the £2500 disregard but here is what I don't understand. When we get to the end of this tax year and I give them what the actual income was will they use that to see how much I should have received for the 12-13 year or will the £2500 disregard still be slapped on there? Just to make it clearer with an example: estimated income for 12-13 £12000 with the disregard of £2500 £14500 actual income for 12-13 £12500 In other words will I need to pay anything back or will they need to give me something extra? Any help or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
