ok so we had a new baby 4 weeks ago and filled out all the relevant paper work. i earn £11,700 a year and was gettin £10 a week working tax credit, my partner earns less than me although there seems to be a mistake on her p60 as they have her down for earning £12,500 last year which isnt right she earns more like circa 10k
we applied for a maternity grant which we were turned down for as were not on enough benefits :mad:
we recieved a letter back to say we are entitled to child benefit :T
however recieved word back today that im no longer going to recieve my working tax credit, nor are we recieving it under the new application and the child tax credit element says were getting £19.87 a month...
this seems very low from anyone else ive spoken to.. also rang back to say my partners figure is at least 3k higher than it should be and we were pretty much told that was that.. if we do a calculation on the website it comes back with a different figure altogether.. im stumped :(
