I applied for JSA.
Had first meeting with advisor, set targets etc. Then Tuesday last week was my first 'sign-on' date.
I've read (I think on here), money should go into account 3 days after signing date. Someone else has told me, it goes in every Monday (but I think his signing day may have been Wednesday).
I was told, originally, it would take 2-6 weeks for some office in Newcastle to approve my claim.
So I'm confused as to whether I should have money or not?
Am I supposed to receive some form of confirmation letter to say my claim has been approved? As what's the point of me going in for a second appointment to 'sign-on', if I get no money for it. Or do they back date it when it's approved?
