Benefits affected by son becoming an apprentice?

My son will be 16 shortly and is applying for an apprenticeship. The hourly rates are very low and I was wondering whether this income would be included in the calculations for housing and council tax benefit which I currently claim....?

Also I am assuming child benefit and child tax credit will stop for me for this son (although I have younger children) - is this the case does anyone know?

Any other things to consider that I might have forgotten about....?
