We live in a 4 bed house with our 3 kids, and last week our eldest grown up daughter moved in with us with her partner and their 3 children. We now have 10 of us in this house.
We get DLA for our son who is disabled, and we get child tax credit and child benefit for all 3 of our kids.
Do we need to inform anyone in the benefits system about our daughter and family living here though ? They are just getting themselves sorted out and then will be finding a place for themselves but no idea of time scale - could be weeks, could be months (YIKES :eek:)
We pay full council tax - never sure if we could have applied for a reduction in this because my husband is our son's carer, but do we need to inform them ?
Do we need to tell the car insurance or house insurance people even though it is only temporary ?
