Hi all, was wondering if anyone could give advice or say yay or nay.
Here goes, I have anxiety disorder and agoraphobia havent been out for nearly a year, I get £71 a week esa have been waiting for atos to give me a home visit since september 2012 hopefully they will give me appointment soon apparently they have a backlog! If I get approved for not attending the job centre I will recieve around £100 a week. OK this is what I was thinking I'm an artist and I was thinking of going self employed working from home and using EBAY to sell work, I sell a few bits at the moment but nothing major. I have earned approx £20 every few weeks before EBAY charges etc not much I know but its a start.
Say I go self employed, can I claim working tax credits? I can spend roughly 20 hours maybe more a week drawing. Hopefully my work will get popular and I sell more. I know £20 isnt alot but It gets me off ESA and if I could get tax credits that would be fab, anything over £71 would be a bonus, I dont get housing benefit as my daughters pay the rent and council tax.
I hope Ive made myself clear, what do you think? possible, impossible, alot of bother for so little. would like to hear from somebody.
Many thanks for reading x:)
