Jobseekers

Hi, I am looking for some advice on Jobseekers.
I had my second child Christmas 2011 and was due to go back to work Aug 2012 full time. I decided not to return as my employer could not offer me suitable hrs and the childcare was going to cripple us and we were not going to be able to make ends meet. I had to leave my job because of this.

I got my holidays etc paid to me so we lived on that for a while and I went to claim Jobseekers in Oct 2012. I told them the above reason for leaving my job and that I did it voluntarily under those circumstances. Jobseekers was approved and I started to receive payment.

I got a letter in the post today from Jobseekers telling me that because I gave up my job voluntarily that i may not be allowed Joobseekers for the first 26 weeks unless I can give a valid reason for leaving. I am very confused as I gave my reason at the initial interview and it was approved and now they are telling me I may not be entitled? Can they make me repay what has already been given to me? Could I appeal if this is what I am asked to do? My husband and I would not have that sort of money to give back.

I am currently seeking a job with suitable hours and have not been able to find one yet. Please can someone advise me as to what my options are here. I am quite upset by it all. Thanks for reading.
