Starting a job but I'm not paid for a month...

Hi
I am starting a job but I am not paid for a month, I have been out of work for over a year. I know that I may be entitled to 'Extended Payment of Housing Benefit' but am I still entitled to the ESA I've been receiving for a year, for the month that I will not be paid.
