Housing Benefit After You Start Work

I was told in my job centre when i signed off and started work that the council would pay my rent for four weeks after i started work

My question is what documents do i has to show to the local council to have this done ? i have tried calling them but have ended up going around in circles and i do not have the time to visit them that is until i know what documets i have to provide
