DLA Question Help Needed Please!

Hi,

My sister has just started full time work but she is hard of hearing and has to wear a hearing aid, this has been the case since she had an ear infection aged 4 which led to the impairment.

Would she be entitiled to DLA or an extra financial help at all apart from working tax credits which she has sent off a claim for?

I have no idea about DLA so I hope I don't sound stupied!
