Working Tax Credits - Advice Needed

Hi, this is really confusing me at the moment: I recieve working tax credits on fridays as a rule all the time without fail. Boxing Day 2012 a Wednesday I recieved my Working Tax Credits. Will the same thing occur the following Wednesday on 02/01/2013? Then will my payments return to their normal dates?
