anyone help me with a question related to jobseekers allowance-income based?? i filled in form for hubby online and it suggested on direct gov he claime jsa income based (not contribution which we originally got told) any way he went to jobcentre yesterday and got given forms for me to fill in regarding my job, the only reason he can claim income based jobseekers is because i work less than 24 hours, however the forms they gave him ask for which days i work each week and hours.... however their weeks must start on a tues not a monday :( i work every monday so this makes it diffucuilt so 1 week i will have mondays shift-12 hours, tuesdays shift-8 hours then the following mondays 12 hours :( which takes it to 30 hours :/ are they really this particular.
my shifts various each week but i work every monday and another 1-2 day through the week.... so i am doing less than 24 in my eyes, will they see it like this ?
