Bank statements - redundancy

Hi
I was made redundant a few years ago and had to show my bank statement showing what I was given and savings etc. Thankfully now I am working.
However, a friend is under redundancy and asked me what details he has to give them. I couldnt remember - think it was the last 12 months.

Anyone know?
