Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. My partner has been out of work since April 2012, once eligible they applied for Jobseekers via telephone, however since then there has been nothing but trouble and excuses.
They keep stating that the application is still processing or that they awaiting more information at one point in January they were just awaiting payment confirmation however we are now in July and my partner has had no joy. I have got my partner to write down the time, date and person they spoke to as well as a summary of the conversation. in order to keep a chronology of events. My partners Jobseeker advisor (not sure about the proper term) from the job centre plus has written letters to evidence a paper trail however so far they have had no luck.
sadly I am limited in what support I can give as I work full time and by the time I get home the line is usually closed. Can anyone give any advice on where to go from here or any potential solutions to push things forward as it appears this will keep going around in circles? Thanks in advance.
