Hi, this is the first time I've even been on the site.
I started my Nursing degree in March this year the uni is in England and I live in Wales, I have no idea if my NHS bursary is taken into account for Council Tax benefit the uni said I would be eligible to claim it but I have been turned down. I have renewed my tax credits today and they said they are only interested in taxable income, is this true for council tax benefit too? I have never claimed any benefits before and have NO CLUE what I'm doing!
I have 4 children one disabled and in receipt of middle rate DLA, Im married and my husband earned £11200.
I hope someone can help me as I'm so confused :(
