P60 - which figure for Tax Credit Declaration

wonder if anyone can advise me. I am filling in our tax credit annual declaration for year ended 5 April 2013. I forecast £27,000.

On my partners P60 which I have just received it says
"In Previous employment - 11,656"
"In this employment £8341
Total for year - 19998

Next to the "In this employment" is a box which says this figure should be used for tax return.

Does this apply for Tax Credits as well or only for Tax Return?

We dont get any working tax credit but do get Child Tax Credit as we pay for childcare.
