Hi all,
its that time to fill in my tax credits renewals, however I'm confused at what to put for the "Income Details"
In the 2.2 "Earnings as an employee from all jobs" part.
The documents tell you to take a look at your P60 for a final figure.
In the first 6/7months or so of the tax year I was on Income Based JSA, and then I went on to start contracting with a particular company.
Now I know that IB-JSA isn't counted for "2.1 Taxable social security benefits received" part.
But........is the IB-JSA counted for the "Earnings as an employee from all jobs"?
Reason being, looking at my P60, it has an amount of approximate £3000 in "In previous employment(s)", followed by "In This Employment" amount of around £9000 and then the total figure.
As this has been my only job since leaving JSA, I assume that the "In Previous Employments" is actually referring to JSA?
So that makes me wonder if I should include or deduct that amount on the amount on the letter?
edit-
just realised my title is a little mislreading, as the confusion is for the Income Details part - can't change the title now though - oh well
