Does anybody know when the first payment of HB gets paid please? It will be for private renting.
Im possibly going to get my ex boyfriends name taken off the tenancy & put in my name.He was paying the rent due to me on a low income.We are joint tenants at the moment.Ive been told that I cant put in a claim until hes off tenancy & stopped paying it.
Im a bit scared of the actual amount Im going to be allowed when his name comes off & stops paying.Im only on £40 a month at the mo & waiting for a decision on ESA, so Im hoping to get the full amount of local housing allowance rate.
I would not have the money to pay for the next lot so does this mean that my landlord would have to wait til its sorted or do the council make sure it gets paid when due?
Also, does anyone have an example of how it comes of the weekly rent if you start to earn a certain amount?
