is there any way around this?

following on from my redundancy thread i have done several calculations on tax credits and entitled to and its pretty much the same......

so is there any way around my oh claiming benefit and carers allowance?
could he go on to income support and claim carers aswell ? (really hoping he gets a job tbh )

really dont know where the cab got their figures from :(
