in serious need of some advice, im currently 22 weeks pregnant & have a little boy who is five, im a single mum and working 16 hours a week. recently ive had alot of problems with my back and now have to see a physio, ive been off work for the past 3 weeks with a sicknote from the doctor. My problem is because i dont earn enough money i am not entitled to SSP, as far as i was aware i was entitled to esa whilst i was of work. My doctor doesnt think i will be fit to go back to work so i will be claiming my maternity allowance from 29 weeks. So for the previous 3 weeks and the next 7 weeks i need to claim esa,ive read that esa will not affect my tax credits as i can claim them for 28 weeks, its just will it affect my housing beneifts from what im receiving now. im also moving house in a month and half under a different council so i just dont know what i can claim and if i will end up with less money :( please any advice would be great!!
