tax credits renewal

I renewed my tax credits last monday and there was 2 payments in my bank friday.
I have had a letter saying this is an estitmated payment why they process my claim.
Is this normal?
I had a change in my circumstance as my daughter starting getting DLA last month shes nearly 2.
