Please help

Hi all, partner and daughter moved in with me and my son on April 8th and we promptly claimed for CB and tax credits. I am still waiting to hear from either but they have stopped all of my money I was getting beforehand.

They are no help at all on the phone, never say anything specific just that I have to wait but we are really struggling. Tax credits are awaiting CB for step daughter I think but is it right this can take 3 months to come through even though her mom has notified them she is no longer living with them?

Any advice would be appreciated,
