Hi, I posted about a week & half ago about how best to claim esa after being signed off sick by gp (ongoing mental health probs plus more recently joint problems resulting in severe pain & limited movement). I called the jobcentre and claimed by phone which went okay and Ive sent off my sicknote as requested.
Now the ESA50 form has arrived only a week (wasnt expecting it that soon) after me applying so Im panicking and stressing about this :( Ive called CAB for help with it and am waiting for them to get back to me with an appointment but is there anything I should be doing in the meantime? I have doctors again tomorrow - should I let him know I am claiming ESA? anything I should ask/tell him? etc
Any advice would be gratefully received, I cant afford to mess this all up as I have 2 youngish (8 & 9yrs) children so need the ESA money to live.
