i hope someone can help me and i hope I'm posting in the right place (new to this).
Backgound:
I am a 25yr+ "lone parent". i have 2 children. both girls. my youngest is under one and my eldest under 5.
i was on maternity allowance and that finished as i went to university. I'm no longer working. now the year at uni has finished i have no money atall. they said I'm not entitled to income support any more as I'm now a student and my 1st years loan is suppose to cover me until my next loan date (october). my last loan £3000 was to cover nursery fees and £1000 for my self. after paying the extra i have to make up in rent April-September. I was left with nothing. i get ctc (at a reduced rate) and cb and this is what pays for everything else in my life, water gas etc. anyway my biggest worry is that each week I'm left with less then £5 and heaven forbid an emergency happens. i sold a few bits and bobs last month to have enough to cover my direct debits last month but now i have nothing, and the end of the month is dawning and i don't know what I'm going to do when the direct debits get declined, as that then incurs more fees from the bank. i feel like I'm living day by day counting pennys. is there any other financial help i can get out there? i thought there would be a bit more help now I'm a student with children, but theres nothing. every where i go or ask they say i need to go back in to work but my youngest isn't even 6 months yet plus i wouldn't be able to afford the nursery fees.
