Hi there,
My partner has been on Income Based ESA for well nearly 2 years now due to ill mental health, since the new year we have been part of a joint claim as we are now hoping to move in together.
We get £80 extra pound a fortnight due to myself being part of the claim. I was wondering if I was able to work at all, being on or off the claim??
I am so confused by it all, I seriously want to work and earn some money but I have no idea how this affects my partners ESA Payments.
How many hours can I work, how much money can I earn until it affects his payments?
Could somebody pleas explain all of this to me, I have done so much googling.
I am aware that CAB are the best people and we are booking an appointment soon.
Thank you
