Called JC+ today as I never received my JSA payment on Friday only to be told my JSA claim has been suspended.
They said it was because my Jobsearch diary never showed evidence of me doing enough to look for work in the past 2 weeks.
When I signed on last week they never even asked to see my diary, they asked if I had my first appointment for working programme yet and I told them no but I had called the provider to see when my appointment would be and they said I should receive a letter within another week.
After I signed my signing on sheet they told me I could go.
Every other time that they have asked for my diary, I have always showed them it and made sure there is enough in it to cover my JSA agreement
While I have been signing on I have applied for many jobs and attended interviews.
So now Im £140 down for no reason.
It seems the harder you look for work the worse they treat you.
