My husband receives High Rate Mobility & Middle Rate Care DLA . However, payment did not go into the bank this week and when I phoned them, was informed it was because it has been suspended due to him being in porison! (He is not and never has been!)
I wouldn't mind, but the same thing happened about 5 years ago too!
After lengthy calls and contradictory explanations from DLA etc, it HAS been reinstated and will take 3-5 working days to reach bank.
It doesn't sound SO bad but we are reliant on that money and have had to cancel direct debits, payments, and shopping due to this.
Also, we are worried it will happen again
My question is, can we get any compensation for this error (twice) and how do we go about it please?
