Hi everyone, since February I have been receiving JSA, but just over a week ago (23rd April) I started a new full time job. I posted my filled in ES40 form to the local Job Centre in an envelope the day before I was due to start.
However, since then - nearly a week and a half later - and I have still not heard anything from the Job Centre. No letter to confirm that my claim has ended and no back payments from when I had my last signing in date. Nothing. Does it normally take this long? I've tried contacting them but the phone numbers are so utterly useless that trying to find the right one is a chore in itself. Seriously, they are appalling.
Any help would be much appreciated as I could really do with this money that is owing to me asap!
