I worked 23 hours per week up until the 25th of March as i have been signed off until my maternity leave starts on the 24th of June due to my work place being unsafe.
My partner works 37.5 hours per week and we currently claim chaild tax credits, although a very small amount and we recieve child benefit.
Were struggling with me only taking in £86 odd a week statutory sick pay and i updated my circumstances through HMRC and although she updated my details she didnt say whether we'd be eligable for anything else or an increase or any kind of help, she just took the details said they were updated and not to call again until i return to work in March next year.
Im quite bitter because its not that i dont want to work and would still be if i could but now stuck in this limbo where i dont know whats going on or what to do for the best.
Any advice or any similar stories appreciated???
