I have got 6 days work coming up, wed/thur/fri, mon/ tue /wed.
I sign on a wednesday, and it is the wednesday in the mon/tue /wed week.
I am well aware that this is going to throw the DWP into a stage of chaos and it's all going to get messy again, but I want to try and limit the amount of mistakes they could make.
Am I right in that you can work upto 16 hours (the three days takes me less than 16 hrs) in a benefit week? more and you have to sign off and then back on again? Because I am going over two working weeks, but one claim week, how will this work? Do I have to sign off and on again because I will exceed the 16 hours in a beneft week, even if it is over two weeks?
Can I alter the truth and put the days as mon/tue /wed and the same the next week? Keeping the same days, the same pay, but indifferent benefit weeks? not being dis honnest, still declaring the same, won't make any difference other than I don't have to go through the "we lost your paper work, stop starting of benefits waiting for ages whilst they sort them selves out routine". because I sign off and then on again?
It really seems hardly worth the hassle (and the reason people don't like to work part time and claim benefits) but I know that the six days will mean a lot regarding getting back into work and I would be foolish not to do them.
