Recently stopped claiming Incapacity Benefit - Tax Rebate?

I recently stopped receiving Incapacity Benefit after being claiming it for eight years due to depression and anxiety.

It was National Insurance based IB as I had worked for four years before becoming ill and believe that this benefit is taxable. Would I be entitled to a tax rebate for the past tax year(s) and how would I go about applying for it?
