Hi all,
My hubby has been in the Support Group for the past four years. He also claims DLA and I get CA as his full time carer.
He's been assessed twice during this time for ESA and each time he's been put in the Support Group without a medical for a period of two years, the only problem being we've never actually received this in writing so each time I've spent many hours being given the run around on the phone just trying to find out whether he had to had a medical or not.
Anyway my question is when is it okay to start calling the DWP, or should it be ATOS, to find out what's happening to his claim. The pack was due back on 19th march but they received it on the 15th and we've not heard a thing whereas my niece, same area, has her medical on Thursday and her form was returned a few days after my husbands so I'm getting a bit anxious due to all the stories of benefits being stopped for all sorts of reasons like not attending medicals etc.
