Just now I am on JSA and have just been told I am getting put onto Working Programme.
I have 2 kids one who is 2 and the other is 7. The 7 year receives DLA and his mum claims Carers Allowance for him.
Me and his mum had seperated for a while but have just decided to give it another go but have decided to remain living seperate houses just now to see how it goes. My son requires care during the day and when he awakes during the night several times
What I am looking to find out is if I was to claim Carers Allowance using my own address how would this affect things? Would his mum still receive carers allowance or would they maybe just half her payments and give me half instead of JSA.
What is my best option here to stop them puting me on Working Programme? We want to remain in seperate houses just now but dont want to lose money. I am not work shy, this is the first time I have ever claimed benefits but just dont want the Working Programme due to lots of negative stuff I have heard and me having to take a round trip of 2 hours every time I need to go to it.
